<p>There's probably a market here.</p>
<p>(Not that I care anymore, as I don't carry a BB. On my iPad, <a href="http://blog.dirkz.com/">Dirk Zimmermann</a>'s <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nethack-hd/id363447057?mt=8">Nethack HD</a> is awesome; <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/inethack/id324299096?mt=8">iNetHack</a>, the iPhone version, is slightly less awesome, but still playable.)</p>

There's a bunch of <a href="http://roguebasin.roguelikedevelopment.org/index.php?title=Category:Handheld_roguelikes">Roguelikes for handhelds</a>, including <a href="http://www.nethack.org/v343/ports/download-wince.html">Nethack for Windows CE</a>, but not a one listed for BlackBerry.</p>
<p>It's true that I'm <a href="http://forums.pinstack.com/showthread.php?t=8327">not</a> <a href="http://ask.metafilter.com/91381/Nethack-on-a-Blackberry">the</a> <a href="http://gadgets.boingboing.net/2008/05/27/cheap-handheld-rogue.html">first</a> <a href="http://c-l-a-w.org/forums//showthread.php?t=6024">person</a> to notice or complain, but I'd love to add my voice to the choir.</p>
<p>Tons of games exist for BlackBerry—I don't know how I'd get through airports, bus rides, and meetings without them—so why this one oversight?</p>
<p>If you don't know what Nethack is, it's simply <a href="http://www.salon.com/tech/feature/2000/01/27/nethack/">the best game ever</a>.</p>

<p>There's a "deleted items" folder that's always empty, but nothing else apparent in the UI. Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but I've looked and looked and can't find it.</p>
<p>I don't like the BlackBerry UI at all (though it's better than my old Motorola pager!) but this seems like an odd oversight even for RIM.</p>
