About Two Ideas
I've often said that my ideal job would be to read and think and talk every day, and to write a memo with two ideas on it as my "product." Those ideas might be ideas that could be turned into products, ideas for improvements to existing products, Big Thoughts, little thoughts, a word or a phrase that illuminates a particular social or cultural pattern, a rant, or just something that made me laugh.
Two Ideas gives me a forum to share these ideas. And hey, if you'd like to hire me to write a memo with two ideas each day, please let me know!
Although I believe at the time I write them that any ideas here are my own and truly new, I may or may not have researched whether or not it is the case. While anyone is free to produce products based on an idea they discovered on this site, I make no claims as to the originality of the ideas, or to their status as regards patents and trademarks.
If you know of any implementation of any of the ideas on this site, please let me know. Similarly, if you have based a product or a work of art on material from this site, I'd love to hear from you.
About Me
I'm a thirtysomething man living in Seattle, Washington, where I pay the bills working on computers, but I'd prefer to write for a living. (Heck, wouldn't everybody?) I do occasionally get fiction published, and in the past have had book reviews and many articles about computers published. My list of publications can be found online, as can my meta-blog, comprised of my various personal and professional feeds.
When I'm not sitting at a computer, I'd rather be scuba diving.
